For nearly a decade, he was involved in developing various FM stations. His positions include:

• Creative Head, Fever FM.
• And eventually...becoming the National Programming Director, BIG FM.

And in the middle of all this, he met his Guru, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. Utkarsh took a sabbatical and lived with his Guru in his ashram (ISHA Yoga Ashram) at Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

While doing his sadhna, he also helped setting up the ICSE School there called "ISHA HOME SCHOOL." He also taught the children Mathematics and Hindi...

(He considers teaching Hindi to those students who are completely unexposed to Hindi literature, his toughest project till date.)

After returning from his sabbatical, Utkarsh joined Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the Creative Director of his production house.

Here he also acted in the movie Ram-Leela as the comic Karsan (Deepika Padukone's suitor).

While working and learning from the maestro, he developed and wrote his show Saraswatichandra and that started his love affair with Television.

He is a certified Hypnotherapist (IMCD, Hyderabad) and has done his Certification in Personal Counselling from Xavier's Institute of Counselling.

Currently, he's in the middle of writing 2 upcoming big budget shows, the official Biography of Virender Sehwag... and doing MA in Sanskrit from Mumbai University.

Charudutt Acharya is a graduate of the FTII (1995). He also holds a MA in screenwriting from Royal Holloway University of London (2007), which he took as a Charles Wallace scholar of the British Council, India. He has co-written films like Vaastu Shastra, Dum Maro Dum & Nautanki Saala.

In 2014 he wrote and directed his debut feature film SONALI CABLE.

He has worked extensively as writer in Indian TV on shows like Crime Patrol, Court Room, Haqeeqat, Siddhanth, Kagaar, Kadam, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, and several others. He has won the ITA award twice. 2002 for Haqeeqat and 2013 for Crime Patrol.

In the OTT space herecently wrote IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE on VOOT.

Currently he is on the writers' room of two OTT original drama series. Another OTT series he has written is currently in post-production.

He has also taught writing classes at FTII, Whistling Woods, SRFTII and other schools.

Nair claims that this movie depicted her own life in school. Sonam aims at working with young and talented actors like Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in future.
